APPLICATION FOR MEMBERSHIP
Any person, regardless of race, religion, color, sex, disability, national origin or ancestry, may make application for membership in the Club. Application for membership shall be made in writing on a form approved by the Board of Directors. Memberships are available to persons over twenty-one (21) years of age who have been regularly accepted into membership by the Board of Directors and have paid the appropriate entrance fees, plus appropriate tax. No entrance fees paid to the Club will be refunded for any reason.
GOLF MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES
STOCK MEMBER. Stock members shall be persons over twenty-one (21) years of age who have been regularly accepted into membership by the Board of Directors and have paid an entrance fee and purchase a share of the capital stock of the Club upon acceptance. The per share value is $500.00 per share. Upon the death or resignation of a Stock member, his or her stock shall be surrendered to the Club for payment of the current purchase price of one share, $500.
JUNIOR ASSOCIATE. Junior Associate members shall pay an entrance fee that is one-third of the current Associate membership entrance fee, with the understanding that the remaining amount of the Associate entrance fee be paid when the Junior Associate reaches the age of thirty-five, at which time the Junior Associate will become an Associate member. Junior Associate members shall have all the rights and privileges of an Associate member.
NON-RESIDENT I. Non-Resident I memberships are available to persons living not less than twenty or more than fifty miles from the Salina Post Office, Main Branch; and shall be entitled to all rights and privileges of an Associate member. A Non-Resident I member upon change of residence within the aforementioned boundaries, shall contact the office about membership changes.
NON-RESIDENT II. Non-Resident II memberships are available to those persons living more than fifty miles from the Salina Post Office, Main Branch; and shall be entitled to all rights and privileges of an Associate member. A Non-Resident II member upon change of residence within fifty miles of the Salina Post Office, Main Branch shall contact the office about membership changes.
BUSINESS. Business memberships are available to any business entity other than a sole proprietorship which employs six or more employees. A Business membership is not a "general" membership. One employee must be designated as the member. The business and the designated employee are jointly and severally liable for all dues and charges without restrictions or limitations. Business memberships may be transferred for $500.00: there are procedures. Business memberships cannot be held in joint tenancy and have no rights which can be transferred, assigned, sold or inherited. Business members shall be subject to the same rules as are determined, from time to time, to be applicable to Stock members.
SOCIAL MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES
Social category members may not become a Stock or Widower members unless they first become an Associate member by paying the full current Associate entrance fee; less any previously paid entrance fees. All Social category families will be allowed to play golf once a year on the same day regardless of whether they are a guest of a member or of a reciprocating member. Social category members may play in non-Club sponsored golf tournaments. Children of Social or Social Athletic members will not be allowed to participate in the Junior Golf.
SOCIAL MEMBERSHIP. Social members are entitled to Clubhouse privileges. All other membership rules and regulations will apply to the Social member.
SOCIAL ATHLETIC MEMBERSHIP. Social Athletic members are entitled to Clubhouse, swimming pool and tennis court privileges. All other membership rules and regulations will apply to the Social Athletic member.
SOCIAL ATHLETIC SENIOR MEMBERSHIP. Social Athletic Senior members are entitled to clubhouse, swimming pool and tennis court privileges. All other membership rules and regulations will apply to the Social Athletic Senior member. Social or Social Athletic members may become Social Athletic Senior members when either member or spouse reaches the age of 67.
