Randy Syring, our Head Professional is a former Midwest Section Golf Professional of the Year (2004) and is one of the most decorated professionals in the state of Kansas. He continues to be an outstanding leader and contributor to the game of golf and to the membership of the Salina Country Club. Our friendly professional staff is available to give lessons by appointment on Tuesday through Friday year round! The Pro Shop is fully stocked with the best quality merchandise from all of the top brands including Titleist, Fairway and Greene, Callaway, Ping, Ashworth and Footjoy. The SCC Pro Shop made the 2005 list for the Top 100 merchandisers for Titleist. The pro shop supplies the membership with all of their golfing needs: men’s and women’s apparel, clubs, bags, shoes, balls, hats, sunglasses, etc.! Top of the Document Michael Hulteen, CGCS Course Superintendent Golf Course/Superintendent The Salina Country Club is one of the finest 18-Hole golf courses in the surrounding area. Its remarkable layout, gentle rolling terrain, and well-groomed fairways are lined with thousands of mature trees, which makes the course challenging and fair to both the casual and avid golfer. The Salina Country Club facility is sure to make each round played a pleasant experience! Established in 1911, the course continues to improve in its beauty and playability. Under the direction of Class A Certified Golf Course Superintendent, Mike Hulteen, a major course renovation was completed. The project began with the installation and upgrading of the irrigation system. The addition of the irrigation system has made the previous “good condition” of the course EXCELLENT! Mike and his staff completed the course renovation project with the gassing and regrassing the greens. Since the renovations, the course has been busier than ever. The members are very happy with the outcome! Future upgrades will continue as needed. Top of the Document
