Salina Country Club

The Salina Country Club has four lighted outdoor tennis courts surrounded with custom made windscreens conveniently located next to the pool and snack bar.

Bob Warkentine is Salina Country Club’s Tennis expert and the Head Tennis Coach at Kansas Wesleyan University during the school Year. Bob has been coaching for over 25 years in Salina at Salina South, Salina Central, and Sacred Heart High Schools. He has acquired many awards and was inducted into the Kansas Tennis Coaches Association Hall of Fame in 2009. Bob is a great asset to the Country Club and says "This is an outstanding program and I hope my experience and knowledge will only make this program better."

The Salina Country Club has an active and enthusiastic Ladies Tennis Association that collaborates with Bob Warkentine to provide fun fitness activities for beginner and advanced level players alike.

The Ladies Tennis Association welcomes new players and hosts social events throughout the year for players to mingle, practice drills, play matches, and enjoy post work-out food and beverage fare. Novice and non-competitive players will also enjoy our walk-in Summer Tennis and Cardio Classes. More advanced and committed players can participate in the Ladies Tennis Association program year round. Through Bob Warkentine’s leadership, Salina Country Club has established a partnership with The Pines to utilize their indoor facilities from October-March.
